Agree. Gross agendas from an increasingly backwards political party led by some fragile Falwell-esque dystopians and their Stepford wives, neither of which will ever satisfy one another because they’re both looking for supply, but neither wants to give, just take. Chilling. All there is to eat is that healthy looking baby.

After a week long inpatient hospital stay after an abnormal CT scan, my FIL suggested my husband “sit me down & talk to me” about my “absurd medical spending” as if I have any control over what the hospital bills me. He also asked if my husband “actually heard doctors actually saying any of these things to her (me) because she seems fine to him?” (He is not a medical professional in any way).

I found so many things wrong with his whole deal but what really struck me was the sexism.

Do husbands “sit down” their severely ill/hospitalized wives, or just wives, for “talking-tos?” Is that a thing?

(My husband and I are in our mid/late 40’s for reference).

Asking for a friend. Just kidding.

Wishes she had a gong, like on The Gong Show, but for stupid ideas (especially her own). Please don’t ask me what I think if you don’t want to know.
