Hi David,
Thank you for your comment. Issues are usually so much more than they appear.
Remember when Trump thought he would solve healthcare in one day, and then got into office and said "Who knew Healthcare was so complicated?"
I laughed and laughed, because I'm a certified expert in Medicare, Medicaid, and the ACA, and the tests were prepped, adminstered and scored by lawyers. They're DIFFICULT.
Back to your comment: I don't think my neighbors knew (or would have cared) how much we stressed out about food/medical or that my parents were really afraid of the government.
Like, too afraid to apply for benefits and also, we owned a (highly mortgaged for the business - not credit cards/fun) home, which they thought made them ineligible or would get a lien.
Debt doesn't count for some reason when you apply for benefits, which is criminal and should be changed.
MAGAs highly stigmatize:
-debt
-taking medicine/going to the doctor
-applying for benefits,
-asking others for help, and
-talking about a problem
Anyone who does these things is a loser and a parasite, sucking the life out of and burdening those around them.
Children of MAGAs can be reached. My point here: be extra kind to MAGA children. They don't get a lot of it, and they are reachable future voters.
But mostly, they don't get a lot of empathy and kindness. It's not the MAGA brand.
