How enraging!

Frankly the other annoying thing is why are they making us go back into the offices again? Help yourself to some COVID!! Telehealth was a real savior but that seems to be getting phased back out.

(I could see a simple blood test every couple years but that can be ordered remotely and just stop by a lab. Not during a pandemic and no doctor visit needed unless there’s been a change/problem).

FWIW: Insurance companies and the Center for Medicare penalize your PCP with upside/downside risk arrangements for carrying you on their panel but not having you in the office for your annual physical and maintenance care a certain number of times a year.

If you refuse to go in for those, your doctor actually gets fined and a lower Medicare Stars rating, which really punishes them and affects their payment rates. So they’re gonna do what they must to get you in there to comply with their contractual obligations for their payors.
