I agree wholeheartedly. I partially blame TV shows that portray doctors giving patients medications, IVs and catheters, etc, in hospitals. Doctors never, ever do this, nor do they rush, concerned, to chat with patients in a friendly way. They are clinical, busy, and hard to reach, in hospitals, and don’t actually like patients that much or treat nurses all that nicely. People who haven’t been involved with the medical system don’t know all that is fake and that lower-level clinical care is the lion’s share of patients receiving medical treatment.
