I don’t understand how people who live paycheck to paycheck (you were making minimum wage?) can have an emergency fund, then invest? How did you pay rent AND invest? Did you not pay rent/eat? What stupid advice is this?
If you get bronchitis and go to the doctor and need an X-ray and an IV or multiple Rx, that’s $1500! With insurance, maybe only $200. Multiply that by each family member.
I thought that the information was clear and well laid out, but the premise was flawed. People making minimum wage, which is currently $7.25 in the USA can even get health insurance. And yeah yeah, Medicaid. Many doctors don’t take it.
