I know that I have seen multiple statistics (that I cannot ice) saying that men tend to date and marry women who will impress their friends or who will ‘make a great wife/mom’ so if they are filling a slot for a job and then moving on with their lives after checking that little task off their list, then they are going to be hated by someone who thought they were building a loving partnership. Conversely, they are going to resent that the’bad employee’ doesn’t get with the program and understand the role. Obviously this is a shitty situation based on deeply ingrained sexism, but this is how a lot of people feel about gender roles.

Wishes she had a gong, like on The Gong Show, but for stupid ideas (especially her own). Please don’t ask me what I think if you don’t want to know.
