I liked this article and am going to think about it more. Thank you.
I’m wondering where entitlement comes in to play here? Bc it seems like the rapists and society act like they have pulled up to an “all you can rape” buffet and they have some sort of ticket that entitles them to sex. Then the rest of them seem confused about what rape, coercion and sexual misconduct are, as is evident in the justice system. As if women are just hoping for the dark shadow of their attention as they try to get thru the day, and deserve correction when they aren’t there for it. Ive noticed particular fury from men who feel that their sexual advances towards what they deem “less attractive” targets (they thought they’d be grateful/easy scores) can result in the old rapey rapey.
