I live in New Hampshire and it’s not great.

No income tax is a joke. You pay obscene property tax - it get assessed every year, and ours has gone up $1,000 the past three years 2 bedroom house). We have a police department that closes at 8 PM and fire department comes from two towns over, but no streetlights, fire hydrants, water, failing bridges. Healthcare is a joke, and you have to drive hours/go to Boston for a specialist. There are no jobs that pay over 40 grand. There’s no public transportation, no benefits if your disabled unless your extremely poor, no trash pickup/utilities…our electric rates are highest in country. If you work in neighboring state, which you will have to, to pay for your extremely high rent or mortgage, you WILL in fact, pay income tax, to that state, and they will also charge your spouse!! Even if they work in New Hampshire. And if you’re from “outta state” the natives will never accept you.

Also, many of the are armed, at all times. They bring guns to the store. Just so you understand that they can shoot you.

Wishes she had a gong, like on The Gong Show, but for stupid ideas (especially her own). Please don’t ask me what I think if you don’t want to know.
