I’m always amazed by how many people come out of the woodwork to worry about false claims. When you have worked for an agency that does advocacy work for victims, and see how difficult it truly is to get any justice or traction legally, and how brutal the process is, you understand that making claims is generally not worth it. People who withdraw claims don’t usually do it because they’re lying; they do it because it is too brutal and the chances of getting a result are too low for the agony. Also, the abuser is almost always someone that they (and everyone they know) knows, and everyone has an opinion (oh, well, she was kinda mouthy sometimes! Or, I dunno, she could be difficult…? Or, I never really saw that…) so it’s their who life that gets removed.

Wishes she had a gong, like on The Gong Show, but for stupid ideas (especially her own). Please don’t ask me what I think if you don’t want to know.
