It’s not fun to be on the receiving end of a judgmental and cruel poison dart: Lord knows I’ve spun my own mental wheels for countless hours trying to unravel the casual cruelties flung my way! It’s undeserved and assh*lish behavior, and I’m actually fairly certain this person felt quite superior and smug typing it in, blocking you, and imagining the fallout - perhaps she has a necklace of human ears or some disturbing shit.

However, my point is more…you’re a professional author! This provides a truly valuable data point for you PROFESSIONALLY, and to the rest of us (thank you for sharing BTW). We all need to know the range of extremes of readership as we write, and if you charted out this friend of Marjorie Taylor Green on a graph, she’ll be on a certain end of the spectrum of readers.

Look at “her” out-of-touch, school-shooting message, the asynchronous red heart emoji, the dog-whistle use of the word victim…this is a misogynist who believes in bootstrapping, has not been poor, at the mercy of an insurance company/broken medical system, or known discrimination for color, gender, looks, or weight, and doesn’t even believe in a two way dialogue/fairness.

A person who is angry when “victims” work to heal and point out flawed systems that victimized them and many others, but that always seem JUST FINE for, you know…bullies like them.

Wishes she had a gong, like on The Gong Show, but for stupid ideas (especially her own). Please don’t ask me what I think if you don’t want to know.
