I’ve read over and over and physicians and nutritionists have told me, when I have asked, that most supplements are snake oil, not regulated by the FDA (in US) and when independently tested often don’t contain what they claim. (Obviously they prescribe vitamins if you have a deficiency). One actually said it is an excellent way to have very expensive urine. Ive never noticed a difference in performance or “feeling better” except when I take Vitamin D. Do you think that the benefits of supplements are the placebo effect?

Wishes she had a gong, like on The Gong Show, but for stupid ideas (especially her own). Please don’t ask me what I think if you don’t want to know.
