Read your comments aloud.
To an outsider (I mean, a person who is not you) it sounds defensive and overtly hostile.
Women have learned that it is better for their health and safety to avoid angering men who are prone to defensive hostility. They will be politely deferential and avoid confrontation, use numbers for safety, make sure they are far away when canceling, and tell people that you asked them out, they they are uncomfortable, and to please be aware.
Don’t think for a second that these interactions equal trust. That’s unwise.
