The minute a woman demands to be treated with respect, particularly if the person/system/place disrespecting her has deemed her to be a certain status and therefore getting “fair” treatment (usually based on looks & perception of wealth/ability to litigate), she will be shamed with some version of this phrase: it’s not all about you, lady! Implying, that your reasonable request for fairness is very narcissistic while alerting the rest of the room to your request, causing them instantly to turn on you, as if your trying to get what’s rightfully theirs.

I believe (came to the conclusion) Karen’s realized that they were either going to be demonized, shit on, or get their way by being terrifying bitches, so they just go in with guns blazing from the start now.

I learned this by watching my Karen of a SIL. I starting off shocked and hating her, but after dealing with family issues, began to see her logic.
