The mother clearly feels she is more important than her daughter, that her unborn child is more important than her born, grown child and grandchild, and that she has the right to dictate the terms of all of these lives.

Some day, she will wonder why none of her adult children want to spend any holidays with her. She’ll demonize the spouses, cry to anyone who will listen about the wonderful things she used to do for her “ungrateful” children, and bemoan her sacrifices as a mother, all for naught, bc now, she cannot control her adult children, their spouses, and grandchildren, who are being “raised wrong” and could honestly really use her input, so they don’t end up in jail (or embarrassing).

Wishes she had a gong, like on The Gong Show, but for stupid ideas (especially her own). Please don’t ask me what I think if you don’t want to know.
