To clarify, I have voted for healthcare reform since I was 18 years old and able to vote, and was impatiently awaiting the implementation of the ACA in 2012, going so far as getting a job as the Director of the ADRC for my county, and managing Navigators (and other neutral, certified goverment mandated benefits advisors for Medicare and Medicaid) and helping people access Marketplace Plans and Expanded Medicaid as soon as it was accessable in my State.
I am speaking of a lived experience and advocating for extending kindness to the CHILDREN of Trump supporters and evangelicals who have no control over the politics of their parents, but who are very much aware of how it feels to be judged. "Voting Right" is not enough. Voting is a matter of the heart as well as the mind.
