Yeah, why not listen to Dr James Dobson and just beat your children and 15 pound pets until they submit to good mental health? Please. Christians, particularly those with connections to large corporations like “conferences” don’t care about anything but controlling others and still believe that epilepsy and depression among other mental illness are sins and demon possession and punish rather than treat. You can read that so-called leaders quote about treating people with ‘mental illness rather than sin’ to draw your own conclusion but I grew up with ‘Christian’ parents AND epilepsy so I know what I am talking about. These people are monsters, and my parents weren’t outliers. There are churches filled with them and they all nod along to this crap. And they vote. Why do you think they are against the ACA and medical care? They hate the idea that their kids will get access to healthcare and safe adults/mandated reporters who have power.
